Enhanced Learning to Improve Outcomes

QTrobot is an innovative assistive tool, designed to enhance learning and support the development of socially empowering life skills for autistic learners. Asking questions and responding to the learner’s selection on a tablet with verbal and visual prompts, the interactive robot celebrates correct responses with simple physical movements and facial expressions. Fun and engaging, QTrobot helps increase attention and reduce anxiety, improving learning outcomes.

Immersive Classrooms to Open up Experiences

Our new immersive classrooms are a pioneering digital learning innovation offering autistic learners the opportunity to explore and engage with interactive virtual environments. The classroom enables learners to explore places and experiences they may not ordinarily encounter, in an environment where they feel safe. Having trialled the technology in several locations, we’re excited to now be rolling them out to all our schools.

We’re proud to collaborate with world-class experts in related disciplines. In partnership with leading UK universities, we offer placements for doctoral and professional students in fields such as teaching, psychology, occupational therapy, and speech and language therapy. Through ongoing research and development projects we contribute to the evidence base for best practice, often involving lived experience experts and our own research trials and pilot projects overseen by our Group Advisory Board.
