OFG Education celebrates another year of strong exam results

We are celebrating the achievements of thousands of pupils and young people across OFG Education following another strong year of exam results.

In 2026, 2,332 pupils and young people across the Group took part in examinations and assessments – an increase of 46% compared with 2025. Together, they completed almost 12,000 actual exam and assessment entries, demonstrating the growing breadth of opportunities available across our schools.

Results improved for the second consecutive year, with the Group’s overall pass rate reaching 86.2%, compared with 78.4% in 2025 and 75.5% in 2024.

There was plenty to celebrate at GCSE level too. The GCSE pass rate at Grade 4 or above reached 73.3%, rising from 48.1% in 2025 and 24.3% in 2024. Core subjects also saw strong improvements, with pass rates reaching 78.1% in Science, 70.3% in English and 63.0% in Maths.

Our young people also continued to achieve across a diverse range of qualifications and pathways. Specialist examination boards including AIM, ASDAN, City & Guilds, Duke of Edinburgh and Open Awards achieved 100% pass rates, while A-Level provision expanded significantly across the Group, with 289 entries and a 98.1% pass rate.

For our Year 11 pupils, the results reflect the range of pathways available to help every young person work towards qualifications that are right for them. GCSEs accounted for 63% of Year 11 entries, alongside Functional Skills and Portfolio qualifications, with the overall Year 11 pass rate reaching 82.5%.

These achievements are testament to the determination and hard work of our pupils and young people, as well as the teachers, support staff, families and wider school communities who encourage and support them every step of the way.
