OFG Education strengthens international presence with two leading schools in the UAE

OFG Education has strengthened its international education portfolio with the addition of two schools in the United Arab Emirates, further expanding its presence in one of the world’s fastest-growing education markets.

The expansion includes Crown American Private School (CAPS) and Gulf International Private Academy (GIPA), two established schools serving diverse international communities across the UAE. Their addition reflects a shared commitment to delivering high-quality education while recognising the importance of understanding and responding to the individual needs of every student.

The UAE continues to see significant investment and growth in education, with increasing demand from families for schools that combine strong academic outcomes with a personalised approach to learning. CAPS and GIPA have built strong reputations within their communities for providing supportive, inclusive learning environments that help students thrive.

David Leatherbarrow, Group Chief Executive Officer of OFG Education, said:

“Schools today are responding to a rapidly changing world. Student needs are evolving, technology is reshaping how young people learn, and expectations around wellbeing and outcomes have never been higher.

“Understanding individual needs and adapting education accordingly is something we have focused on for more than 20 years. It’s one of the reasons Crown American Private School and Gulf International Private Academy feel such a strong fit for our group. We’re delighted to welcome them and look forward to learning from one another as we continue to grow our presence in the UAE.”

The expansion supports OFG’s long-term strategy to build a diverse international education group united by a commitment to high-quality, inclusive and personalised education, while creating opportunities for schools across the group to share expertise, innovation and best practice.
